International Style Guide
Attica were approached by Marks and Spencer to redesign their Style Guides.
Q: How did this project come about?
A: Having previously worked for Marks and Spencer's creative managers for other agencies we were recommended to take over the art direction of the current set of Style Guides.
Q: What was the brief?
A: To create a stylish, modern and exciting guide, including the main campaign imagery alongside several key products linked to each theme. This guide to be both aimed at womens and menswear. We were given total control over the projcet so long as we stayed within the guidleines and used Marks and Spencers own fonts.
Q: Did you take inspiration from any other sources?
A: As this guide highlights M+S most desirable pieces we looked to the super-glossy, high end fashion magazines such as L'Officiel, Numéro and Jalouse for inspiration using thin and bold keylines to group sections, alongside a mix of large and small headings to create interest without losing it's modern style.
